Privacy Notice
Last revised: October 20, 2026
Data Center Leadership uses your email address to send its newsletter and for nothing else. We never sell it, and we don’t take money from anyone to publish anything.
Independence
Data Center Leadership is independently managed by a network of independent industry experts and executive recruiters who work across the data center and digital infrastructure sector.
We do not accept paid posts or sponsorships. Equipment vendors, operators, developers and recruiting firms cannot pay for articles, mentions or placement in our newsletter. Our content isn’t for sale, and neither is your data.
The data we hold
If you subscribe to the newsletter, we hold your email address, and your name if you share it. If you email us, we hold that correspondence.
Our web host keeps routine server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and performance. We may also use basic analytics to see overall traffic, but never advertising cookies. We don’t ask for anything more.
What it’s used for
Your email address is used to send you the Data Center Leadership newsletter. Correspondence is used only to reply to you, and server logs only to keep the site running and secure.
We rely on your consent to send the newsletter, and you can withdraw it at any time.
What we never do
We never sell, rent or trade subscriber information. We don’t share it with third parties for their marketing, and we don’t use it for advertising or profiling.
Service providers
Two providers handle data on our behalf. Our email newsletter service stores subscriber addresses and delivers the newsletter, and our web host runs the site. Either may process data outside the country where you live. Beyond that, we disclose information only where legally required.
Keeping and deleting data
Subscriber data is kept while you’re subscribed. The unsubscribe link in every email stops further emails immediately, and on request we will permanently delete your address.
Your rights
Laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act may give you rights to access, correct, delete or port your data, and to object to its use. Contact us to use them, and we’ll respond within the time the law allows.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the data we hold and keep it to the minimum the newsletter needs.
